Dialogue New Age, the DNA group, has been meeting since January of 1996. We have discussed a wide range of themes since our beginnings, and we will continue to be open to all matters that relate to the New Age dawning. It is important during this increasingly critical time of planetary transition that we come together in the spirit of free discussion and supportive sharing, where the philosophical and the experiential are both encouraged.

I've written a poem recently for the coming Millennium. The following is the first, introductory section of it. I am thinking that I may serialize it by sections in the coming newsletters. It is now available, though, in booklet form (my 15th work in booklet form), along with 9 other poems, of which almost all have appeared at some time or another in THE LAMP. (They are all taken from a larger work-in-progress Advent.) If any of you are interested in having for yourself the whole poem in one piece, then let me know.
Peoples of planet Earth, time is running fast & running relentless,
we are approaching the long-awaited threshold fast & relentless--
Sooner than realized, we will greet the threshold
& cross the threshold,
all of us, our societies, civilization, this planet Earth.
Threshold looming, celebrated & dreaded, time gate of Year 2000,
the 21 st Century, the New Millennium,
a new chapter of planetary history will begin,
and all the fabric-of humanity & Earth & solar system
& hyperdimensions unseen,
woven through centuries, through previous millennia,
is more tightly interwoven than ever before--
governments & secret governments, multinational corporations,
economies, infrastructures, power gfids, global communications,
ecosystems & species on mass scale disappearing; resources, waste,
weather, natural disaster,
burgeoning cities of multimillions, institutions, cyber-media-
information explosions,
Technos build-up, new biology & new physics, space travel & plans
of space colonization, while ancient enemies still this day contend;
families in crisis, new bonds of relationship & individuals
at all levels of self-discovery & development;
New Age evolutionary dawning, Other Intelligences visiting,
& tradition-bound religions still clutch their rituals & dogmas;
every day more weapons of mass destruction, questions of survival,
who is to live & who is to die-
but a fabric stretched & stressed, many places coming undone;
a fabric frayed & ripped,
interwoven of old Threads & new Threads,
I see them all woven into the fabric of the Millennium--

The following is the next major section of my poem Threshold of the Millennium. The first major sections of it have appeared in the last two newsletters. The last remaining section will appear in the next LAMP.
Threshold of the Millennium cont. Millennium's yet unborn children! Children of Generations to come-- What will you face in this new century of incredible tensions & unraveling & unnamed new oppressions? What are you about in this new chapter of our history as we move out into new worlds of the Invisible? To what will you aspire that we today cannot see? What Earth chances will you live through, lucky to survive, civilization altered forever? Will you despise these 20th century generations their self-indulgent & myopic monomaniacal policies. their unconscionable waste & greed? Will your century only once aoain perpetuate humanity's atrocities? What will your schools teach after Technos is headmaster? Does history, does poetry, does philosophy count for anything in your world? Will music still capture your soul? What virtual reality heavens will you escape to--to replace a dying planet? Do the world's religions yet remain unchanged, still but control systems for babv humanity? Have you learned yet to co-create with Spirit? Have the Transformers appeared? Have you yet walked upon Mars? Have we finally learned the secret of the saucers? Do superhuman beings live among you? Is there a hybrid race living among you? Has humanitv been allowed yet to join the community of cosmic intelligences? Children, what foods do you eat? Is air still free? Is it breatheable? Do rivers anywhere flow clean? How many billions of us a hundred years from now? Do birds still sing a hundred years from now? Do dolphins still play at ease waiting for us to join them? Is Technos Big Brother watchino over all throuoh biochip surveillance? What new bodies will you have? Perfect genetic-engineered bodies? Cyborg bodies? Are vou still born of a mother & father? Do android robots compete with you? supervise you? patronize you? Do you still use money or is the feel of money but a virtual memory? Is there a one world Government, a New World Order, one techno- interlocked System of total control, on Earth? Is there a few of you still realizing human greatness of Spirit. or does the System keep all of you manageable & small? Does the fabric weave you completely, or can you still take up threads to do your own weaving? Millennium's yet unborn children! You who will possibly witness the threshold of the unimaginable 22nd century-- We at the closing of the 20th are about to witness the largest celebration in the history of humanity-- For we stand at the closing of more than a century, we stand at the closing of the 2nd & final Christian Millennium.to be continued...
